MONUMENT COACH
The Fleet

Sized to the Movement, Not the Other Way Around

Eight vehicles, every one chauffeur-driven and dispatched from our own garage in Jessup, Maryland. Pick by headcount and luggage — and we will tell you honestly if the tier below does the job for less.

By Capacity

Pick the Vehicle, Not the Photograph

Most people arrive here with a number in mind — eighteen people, or forty, or a wedding block of sixty across two runs. The useful question is which vehicle carries the group and the luggage without a second one following behind.

Accessibility

Lift-Equipped Vehicles, Arranged Properly

Wheelchair-accessible transport is not a tier of the fleet, it is a capability we arrange on any booking — a lift-equipped vehicle, an unhurried boarding, and a driver who has done it before. Tell us when you enquire rather than on the day.

How accessible bookings work →

Luggage, honestly

  • A van seating fourteen does not carry fourteen airline cases. For an airport run with full luggage, count on roughly two thirds of the seated capacity.
  • Golf bags are the common trap — a dozen golfers with clubs is a mini coach, not a van.
  • Cruise luggage is the other one. Port of Baltimore runs almost always want the tier above what the headcount suggests.
  • Tell us what is travelling and we will size it before quoting rather than after.

How we assign a vehicle

We assign by capacity tier and availability on your date. If a particular vehicle matters — a wedding where the coach appears in photographs, say — tell us when you book and we will confirm in writing what you are getting.

What we do not run

No party buses, no neon, no dance poles. If that is what the occasion calls for, we are the wrong company and we will say so on the phone rather than after you have paid a deposit.

Questions

Answered Before You Ask

How many passengers fit on your largest bus?
Fifty. Above that we run a second vehicle rather than pushing a group into something uncomfortable, and two coaches on one schedule is smoother than people expect.
Can I rent a charter bus in Washington DC for a day?
Yes. Full-day charter is the most common booking we take, priced hourly with a minimum rather than by the mile, so a day of stops costs what it costs with no meter running.
Do your coaches have a restroom?
Some do. Ask when you book, because it depends which coach is assigned, and on a long run it is worth specifying up front rather than discovering it on the day.
How much luggage will fit?
Less than the seat count suggests, on every tier. For airport and cruise runs plan on roughly two thirds of seated capacity in full-size cases.
Are the vehicles wheelchair accessible?
Accessible vehicles are arranged on request rather than kept in every tier. Tell us when you enquire and we will size and schedule it properly instead of improvising on the day.

Tell us the headcount and the luggage. We’ll name the vehicle.
